Accountant / Bookkeeper (Part-Time, 1–2 Days per Week) Boutique Catering Company – Toronto, ON
We are a high-end catering company serving prominent industry clients and are seeking apart-time Accountant/Bookkeeperto join our team1–2 days per week. This is an on-site role ideal for an experienced financial professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Proficiency inQuickBooksis essential.
###Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Payroll processing and remittances
- HST preparation and filings
- Monthly credit card reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Job costing and expense tracking by event
- Monthly financial reporting for management
- Petty cash management
- Occasional filing and general office duties
- Assist management with financial tasks as needed
###Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or business administration
- 2–3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles
- Proficiency withQuickBooksandMicrosoft Excel
- Comfortable working onMac OS
- Detail-oriented, organized, and highly reliable
- Self-managed with strong follow-through
- Professional demeanor and clear communication skills
