Position Overview
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto is seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time academic position as an Assistant Professor in the General Division and Brain Health Imaging.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in the field of psychiatry and brain health imaging.
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Eligibility for licensure in Ontario.
- Demonstrated research productivity and a strong publication record.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in a relevant subspecialty.
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Additional Information
- The successful candidate will be expected to develop a robust research program and contribute to the academic mission of the department.
- This position is subject to budgetary approval.
