About the role

Position Overview

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto is seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time academic position as an Assistant Professor in the General Division and Brain Health Imaging.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent research in the field of psychiatry and brain health imaging.
  • Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers.
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Ontario.
  • Demonstrated research productivity and a strong publication record.
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fellowship training in a relevant subspecialty.
  • Experience with advanced imaging techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
