IT Project Manager: On behalf of our Enterprise client, Procom is searching for an IT Project Manager for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
IT Project Manager - Job Description: We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technology initiatives across the firm. The role involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget, while ensuring alignment with business goals.
IT Project Manager - Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in partnership with stakeholders
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies
- Lead project execution using appropriate project management tools and methodologies
- Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders, team members, and leadership
- Track progress, manage risks, and proactively address issues and scope changes
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior leadership
- Manage project budgets and support near- and long-term financial forecasting
IT Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
- Four-year university degree in Computer Science or a related field
- PMP or CAPM certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management role
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation
- Solid understanding of PMBOK and Agile methodologies
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
IT Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365
- Experience with software testing and quality assurance practices
- Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
IT Project Manager – Assignment Length: This is a permanent position.
IT Project Manager - Start Date: ASAP.
IT Project Manager - Assignment Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid environment with 4 days in the office.
