Marketing Content Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

Part of the Canadian Marketing team, this role is responsible for managing and executing the marketing content strategy for Canada. This position works closely with the Senior Director of Marketing and Content Programs, Public Relations Manager, the Canadian Marketing team, Canadian business partners and Corporate partners.
What You'll Do
SEO Strategy
- Develop and execute marketing content strategies that increase SEO/web traffic, brand reputation and credibility, and support business growth for Robert Half practice groups.
- Develop an editorial calendar to plan and publish blog content on the Insights hub that positions Robert Half as a thought leader with both client and candidate audiences and reinforces our strategic content pillars.
- Collaborate with the CA marketing and PR teams to determine the appropriate channels for content distribution.
Content Production
- Develop engaging content in a variety of formats (blogs, case studies, presentations for webinars and events, etc.) for Robert Half practice groups that addresses customers’ needs and pain points and supports sales, marketing and public relations activities.
- Manage monthly Statistics Canada sales enablement materials inclusive of infographics for social, internal comms for TSPs, blog entries, etc.
- Ensure that all content has a tone and style consistent with the brand and is consistently typo free, grammatically correct and high quality.
Alliances and Events
- Manage external field presentation program in Canada, with a focus on developing new and relevant content that positions RH as an industry leader with defined target audiences and alliance partners.
- Support alliance relationships by developing custom content for speaking engagements, panels and other presentation opportunities as well as for newsletters and byline opportunities.
- Develop roundtable abstracts for field use according to prescribed cadence.
What You'll Need
- 5-7+ years of experience working in a digital marketing, communications or public relations role.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Superior customer service mindset, including the ability to interact with all levels of field and senior leadership with the same responsiveness.
- Capacity to respond quickly and confidently to sometimes urgent needs, providing quality communications on behalf of field leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications/public relations, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills are an asset.
- Bilingual English/French language skills are an asset.
