About the Role

The Ecommerce Manager manages the Vancouver Ecommerce department, overseeing a team of associates, photographers, photo editors, and studio support staff. This role ensures the smooth flow of product from Buying to published online while maintaining brand standards in photography, styling, and fulfillment. The Ecommerce Manager provides daily clarity, coaching, and direction to the team, while driving efficiency, consistency, and growth across operations.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop Ecommerce Associates and photo editors, providing clarity on daily and weekly priorities.

  • Conduct regular 1:1s and performance evaluations; provide feedback and coaching to support growth.

  • Schedule the team in Push, review payroll, and ensure adequate coverage for daily workflows.

  • Hold daily huddles to set focus, review progress, and reinforce accountability.

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee fulfillment, ensuring orders are pulled, packed, and shipped within timeline goals to deliver a luxury customer experience.

  • Manage product flow from intake photography live online, prioritizing high-value items.

  • Maintain studio and BOH organization, ensuring a professional and efficient workspace.
    Conduct monthly audits of the online store for accuracy and consistency.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including external moving companies, models, and contractors.

Content & Creative Direction

  • Oversee quality of product descriptions, photography, and ecomm content standards.

  • Edit product descriptions and ensure products are pushed live with accurate styling and merchandising.

  • Lead campaign/editorial shoot planning and execution, including casting, booking, styling, and creative direction.

  • Provide on-set support with styling, steaming, training models, and ensuring shoot efficiency.

  • Oversee productivity and quality of photography and editing workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with Buying to prioritize product flow and with Marketing to execute campaigns online.

  • Collaborate with Retail to ensure seamless transfers between stores and Ecommerce.

  • Contribute recommendations for improving workflows, efficiency, and customer experience.

  • Support major ecommerce events such as Black Friday, Boxing Day, and capsule launches.

  • Act as a key contributor in Ecommerce leadership meetings.

Innovation & Growth

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational cost, and elevate the online experience.

  • Train and coach the team to understand ecommerce KPIs (SLAs, revenue goals, opex).

  • Support Ecommerce setup and execution at pop-up locations.

Who You Are

  • 2-4 years of ecommerce or retail operations experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong people management skills with proven ability to coach, train, and inspire a team.

  • Advanced knowledge of Shopify, Gorgias, and ecommerce workflows.

  • Creative sensibility in styling and campaign direction, with experience managing on-model/editorial shoots.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with excellent communication skills.

  • Passionate about fashion, styling, and delivering luxury experiences.
