WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
This role leads a team of highly skilled professionals accountable for the successful delivery of HR technologies, ensuring alignment to and the acceleration of workforce strategies and business goals. This role leads the design, implementation and optimization of HR digital solutions, such as Workday, to drive business value and continually evolve the HR digital experience. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader with deep knowledge of HR systems; has strong business acumen and a solid track record of delivering technology and driving ongoing digital transformation.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Develop and execute a digital HR technology roadmap in alignment with HR and enterprise strategies, partnering closely with IT and HR colleagues
- Develop and execute the Workday strategy, aligned with business goals and digital transformation initiatives
- Optimize the value derived from HR technologies and champion digital transformation initiatives to enhance employee experience, workforce analytics and process automation
- Lead cross functional HR tech-related projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high user adoption
- Lead the development of an HR business architecture and HR content strategy to build digital, data and AI capabilities for now and for the future
- Ensure HR systems and data practices comply with global data privacy regulations and internal risk policies
- Implement and execute governance frameworks for HR data integrity, system access and vendor management
- Lead and mentor a high performing team of HR technology professionals
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement within the HR tech team
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- Workday experience, specifically experience in leading Workday delivery and ongoing functionality evolution and releases, driving digital adoption
- Strong leadership skills, proven effective experience in building strategies and vision for the team, building and managing the roadmaps and workplans to deliver. Strong experience in building talent and growing skills across the team
- Strong communication skills; demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Strong ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and senior leaders and executives
- Strong organizational, project management and delivery skills
- Strong understanding of the risk environment for HR technology, particularly in progressive technologies such as AI
- A strong understanding of HR technology and/or financial services industry.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation
- Experience in systems development lifecycle
- Experience in vendor management
- Experience in AI delivery
