About the role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining multiple CNC machines
to produce precision parts and components, with a focus on hard machining.
You will utilize your expertise in CAMtool and MasterCAM to ensure the highest quality and
efficiency in production, and you will be expected to work self-sufficiently with minimal supervision
while proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate multiple CNC machines for hard machining applications

Program CNC machines using CAMtool and MasterCAM

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment

Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards

Collaborate with engineering and coworkers to optimize manufacturing processes
-
Maintain accurate production, inspection, and maintenance records

Follow all safety requirements and company policies
Qualifications:
- Technical certification or degree preferred
- Minimum 3 year’s experience as a CNC machinist in hard machining
- Tool manufacturing and/or toolmaking experience is an asset
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation using CAMtool and MasterCAM
- Strong knowledge of hard-machining techniques, strategies, and processes
- Ability to set up multiple workpieces simultaneously to support unattended machining
- Excellent knowledge of metric and imperial measurement systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of
a team
