We are currently looking for an energetic, hard-working Warehouse MH to work part-time permanent on our Weekend Night shift (Friday to Saturday 23:00-11:00 and Saturday to Sunday 23:00-11:00) at our Alliston facility. What You'll Be Doing
The Warehouse MH is responsible for the o verall coordination of all Raw materials and Work in Process to filling lines, mixing, sub-assembly and Finished goods. They work very closely with packing to ensure the packed product is wrapped, labeled and delivered to shipping.

Packing support
– The material handlers on all shifts are responsible for removing, scanning and storing all of the Finished goods from Packline#1, Packline#2 and PPB packing. They must ensure the product is wrapped safely. The product must be scanned into the AS400 system and all quantities must balance before a batch can be released. The material handler is a certified forklift driver, Operates two machine wrappers and two label applicators. They are also responsible for delivering skids to the line and loading in the skid palletizer. Coordinate the operation of the Viaflex Filling department. This includes creating the rotation schedule, communicating with Supervisors, Mixers and team members on possible delays, and coordinating materials from the warehouse.

Line support
– The material handlers print a picklist at the beginning of every day. This picklist will give them the WIP and Raw material requirement needed by production for the day. They need to us the AS400 to find the oldest lot in the racks and deliver before the end of their shift. All items are delivered to cover the next shift. Day shift picks for afternoons etc.. They must be able to prioritize their day to ensure no lines run out of material. The material handler must be a certified reach truck driver. Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments and repairs as required.

WIP support
- They are responsible for delivering totes and gaylords to the WIP departments as required. Responsible for escalating safety, quality, and production issues as appropriate. This includes executing initial quality investigations (data gathering) and safety reports.

6S Activities as required –
Warehouse material handlers are responsible for the all areas of the warehouse including racking, packing and finished goods areas Ensuring all SOP’s, GMP’s and Safety rules are followed.

Description of Duties: Shipping
-
Load trailers for outbound shipments and create shipping documents as required.

Ensure Pallet License Plates are affixed to each pallet.
-
Check and verify quantities and descriptions for each load to ensure accuracy.
-
Confirm shipments in system when complete. Complete required tasks in GME & JDE.
-
Description of Duties: Receiving
-
Unloading inbound raw material trailers.
-
Receipt of material into GME/Coupa system. Printing of labels.
-
Partner and work collaboratively with the non-chemical technician on a regular basis.

Flipping of material on to plastic pallets for R&I in preparation for sampling.

Distribution of released raw materials to rack locations, ensure FIFO is adhered to and material is organized in specific locations.
