WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Hospitality is fast-paced and always evolving—which means our HR team needs to be just as flexible and ready to roll with it! As our Payroll & HR Assistant, you’ll be right in the action, helping with everything from payroll processing to keeping our admin game strong. It’s a role where no two days are the same, and you get to be a key part of supporting our amazing team behind the scenes.
This position is a permanent full-time position for $21-$23 per hour.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB
- Full processing of bi-weekly payroll and payroll reports
- Accurately monitor all adjustments, new hires, change of statuses and terminations
- Maintain payroll and employee records
- Prepare various reports for management as required
- Administer benefits and other administrative tasks regarding employees
- Assist in other HR duties including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, wage increases, brand training

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED
- A minimum of 1 year’s work experience in a Payroll role with previous admin experience an asset.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or assignments at one time and ability to multi-task
- Computer Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office including excel, word, outlook, etc.
- Multi-Tasking Ability: Being able to handle multiple transactions simultaneously is beneficial.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance in line with the R Image Standard.
