About the role

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, as a Journeyperson Electrician at EASTCUT, you will play a vital role for the Macklan Group of Companies. You will work with the Electrical team, on the electrical aspects of our projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES Commercial, Industrial, and residential wiring, consisting of panel boards, disconnects. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment in modular units. Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them. Following safety procedure, identifying, and mitigating safety hazards. Read and understand blueprints and electrical drawings specifications. Track changes in the drawings and provide the Asbuilt drawings to the supervisor. Oversee apprentices as per the NS Apprenticeship Agency's regulations.

REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in Commercial, Industrial, and residential electrical Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Passion for safety and working as part of a team of people Ability to think outside the box and solve problems as they arise Reliable and punctual employee.

Rate of Pay Rate of pay dependent on experience. Medical and dental benefits, RRSP matching, paid volunteer time, and 4% vacation pay each pay. All applications are strictly confidential.
