Overview
We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have undergone training by the engine supplier INNIO with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various instrumentation and control systems. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant operation. Preference will be given to a candidate who is able to communicate in both English and Italian. Local Canadian travel is required as is international travel. We have global interests and our head office is situated in Italy.

Responsibilities include

• Provide support to the Field Service Supervisor and colleagues, monitoring and maintenance activities related to plants of the assigned area.
• Assure the continuous and correct operation of the plant.
• Inspect operation of instruments and systemsRepair and adjust system components
• Remove and replace defective partsLogical approach for troubleshooting
• Install new measuring instrumentsPerform scheduled preventive maintenance work
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Complete test and maintenance reportsCalibrate components and instruments
• Determine testing and maintenance procedures
• Coach and mentoring

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.27 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
