Job Summary The successful candidate will provide expert engineering support to ensure the successful execution of our projects over a six-month contract period. Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise for the design, review, and modification of civil and structural components on brownfield industrial projects.
• Support project execution teams in site assessments, technical calculations, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery at Sarnia and Nanticoke facilities.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving construction or design issues during project execution.
• Ensure all work aligns with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer, particularly within the industrial/refining sector.
• Proven track record working on brownfield projects, with a solid understanding of the challenges involved.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively on-site at Sarnia and Nanticoke locations.

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or other structural analysis tools.
• Knowledge of safety protocols specific to industrial facilities.
• Prior experience working in a contractor or consulting environment.

Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, with a focus on brownfield projects within the industrial or refining sectors.
