SEO Executive for a Luxury Brand - WeaverStory/ Urgent Opening
Position Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced SEO Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and be passionate about driving organic traffic, improving search engine rankings, and optimizing website performance.
Responsibilities

Keyword Research and Analysis:

Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords for our target audience and industry.

Analyze keyword competitiveness and trends to optimize website content.

On-Page Optimization:
-
Optimize website pages, meta tags, headings, and URLs to improve search engine rankings.

Ensure that content is SEO-friendly, relevant, and aligned with target keywords.

Implement best practices for internal linking and site structure.

Off-Page Optimization:

Develop and execute link building strategies to enhance the website's authority and backlink profile.

Identify and pursue opportunities for guest posting, content partnerships, and collaborations.

Technical SEO:
-
Perform regular website audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues.

Collaborate with the development team to implement SEO recommendations.

Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics.

Prepare regular reports on SEO performance, keyword rankings, and traffic metrics.

Stay Updated with Industry Trends & Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in SEO.
- Proven track record of improving search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
- Understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO techniques.
- Knowledge of keyword research and analysis methods.
- Basic HTML and web development knowledge for technical SEO implementation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-driven and able to meet targets and deadlines.

The brand also retails online through domestic and international marketplaces such as Pernia’s Pop Up Shop, Aza, Aashni + Co., Nykaa Fashion and Etsy.
WeaverStory products are Silk Mark and Craftmark-certified with GI tags that promise purity and authenticity. The brand also participates in the Government of India’s ODOP(One District One Product) initiative which aims to promote indigenous and specialised goods & crafts distinct to various districts across the country. WeaverStory sources 350 products from over 19 Geographical Indications (GIs), thus assuring genuine handloom apparel from the craftspeople who bring them to life.
