Finding the perfect balance between office and field work is possible at Soucy! As a laboratory technician, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our products and contribute to meeting our customers' highest quality standards. Your main role? Develop test protocols, supervise their implementation, and document the results. You will work closely with the entire product development team.
In This Position, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Develop test protocols and participate in defining the parameters to be evaluated.
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate test equipment.
- Prepare and condition test samples.
- Perform tests on test benches in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor the progress of tests, taking relevant measurements and information at regular intervals
- Document test results and write reports
- Detect and analyze certain problems during testing, propose solutions for improvement, and implement them
- Participate in the development of new tests and the integration of new test equipment

- DEC in mechanical engineering or any other combination of training and/or experience deemed relevant
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good team spirit focused on collaborative work
- Knowledge of metrology
- Good organizational skills, rigorous approach, and ability to follow up effectively
