As a casual Bookings Coordinator, the work you do behind the scenes helps shape each patient’s experience before they even arrive at the clinic. From handling high volumes of calls and inquiries to coordinating multi-site schedules and documentation, your attention to detail and ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment directly impacts how quickly patients get the answers they need.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Patient Scheduling: Ensure a seamless booking experience by accurately scheduling diagnostic imaging appointments, providing clear pre-exam instructions, and addressing inquiries with empathy.
- Improve Processes: Identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to meet organizational goals.
- Expand Expertise: Growing leadership capabilities through ongoing learning, development and practice.
- Enhance the Patient Experience: Champion a compassionate, personalized approach that supports a remarkable journey for every patient.
- Uphold Standards and Compliance: Promote adherence to protocols, processes, and regulatory policies.
- Improve Workflows: Share ideas that contribute to more efficient operations and an improved daily experience for both patients and team members.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Medical Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Patient Scheduling Expertise: Competency coordinating multi-site coverage in a health-care setting, with attention to accuracy in schedules, templates, and documentation, while addressing operational challenges and adapting to changes.
- Administrative Experience: A background scheduling medical appointments in a high-volume call environment, combined with strong organizational abilities to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Cross Functional Capabilities: A track record of collaborating with clinical and shared services teams.
- Technology Proficiency: Skilled with scheduling tools (Qgenda preferred), Microsoft Office, and other administrative tools.
- A Compassionate Care Mindset: Empathy and professionalism, with a commitment to creating a warm environment for all.
- Continuous Learning and Development: A commitment to continuous learning, with a focus on building expertise and enhancing team performance through knowledge sharing.
- Additional Language Skills: Comfort communicating in more than one language is considered an asset.

Additional Information
- Deadline to Apply: 11:59 PM MST, October 14, 2025.
- Work Location: Team members may be scheduled to work from any Calgary-area clinic, including Okotoks. Reliable transportation is required.
- Hours of Work: Team members are expected to be available for shifts scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Monday to Sunday.
- Start Date: Successful candidates will be expected to begin immediately upon hire with start dates negotiable based on availability.

Canada Diagnostic Centres (CDC) is a multi-modality diagnostic imaging provider committed to delivering Exceptional Patient Care in the medical imaging field. Formerly known as Western Canada MRI Centres, Canada Diagnostic Centres opened its doors in Calgary in 1993 as the first non-hospital, private MRI in Western Canada. Since 2004, Canada Diagnostic Centres has expanded to 17 locations across Alberta, providing patients and health care professionals with advanced diagnostic imaging.
CDC offers a range of diagnostic imaging services including MRI, CT, Ultrasound 2D/3D and 4D real-time, Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, and X-Ray services.
