Senior User Experience (UX) Designer
About the role
**Senior User Experience (UX) Designer (12 Month Contract)
Location: Vancouver, BC / Hybrid** Staffing Placement Opportunity Qualifications The successful candidate should demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant UX/UI design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, specifically Figma.
- Experience designing for mobile, desktop, and app environments.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
- Understanding of human-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.
- Active contract with the candidate’s current employer at the time of submission.
Services The Successful Candidate Will
- Translate requirements, user insights, and brand guidelines into clear, functional design solutions.
- Produce high-quality UX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, UI designs, and component specifications.
- Customize and extend CMS components to support new features while maintaining consistency with the design system.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct end-to-end user research, from planning through analysis, and incorporate findings into design work.
- Perform other related tasks as reasonably required by the Project Manager.
Skills
- Knowledge of enterprise CMS platforms (AEM preferred).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
