Per company practice, Kumon Associates working in the US and Canada are required to have two years of tenure in their current position prior to applying for a new role in Kumon.
Also, Kumon Associates are required to submit an eForm and have a discussion with their manager prior to applying for the role.Both are needed in order to proceed in the review process.
The Field Strategy Implementation Specialist (FSIS) plays a critical role in translating current corporate strategies into actionable plans for the field. This position is responsible for managing projects, coordinating with the Field Support Center (FSC), and ensuring successful execution of initiatives through the use of project management and effective PDCA. The FSIS will leverage field experience to anticipate challenges, influence stakeholders, and maintain alignment across teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, excels in problem-solving, and has a proactive approach to supporting field teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 -5 years of experience in Field Operations
- Ability to work onsite 2x per week at a company location unless currently remote
- Travel by car and plane for up to 30% of the time as needed
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms
- Advanced project management skills
- Intermediate to advanced analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Coordinate resources to deliver projects on time and within scope
- Identify and resolve obstacles, ensuring continuous improvement (PDCA methodology)
- Lead regular status meetings and provide accurate stakeholder updates
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Act as liaison between Field and FSC teams
- Communicate objectives and progress to maintain alignment
- Collaborate to remove barriers and drive implementation
Strategy Execution
- Translate corporate strategies into actionable field-level plans
- Monitor and adjust tactics for ongoing initiatives
- Audit processes and recommend workflow improvements
- Apply field knowledge (Kumon Method, center operations, consultation best practices)
- Implement systems and tools to support execution
Communication & Influence
- Deliver clear, persuasive communication to drive adoption
- Influence decision-making and gain stakeholder buy-in
- Track progress and share insights with leadership
- Develop and deliver training to support field initiatives
