Job Description:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong construcion finance experience to oversee the full project accounting cycle—from budgeting and forecasting to job cost reporting and payment processing. This role rquires a hands-on, proactive individual who can collaborate with Project Managers, enure accuracy across financial workflows, and support timely reporting and compliance.

What You Will Do:
- Understand the whole accounting process while overseeing a team of project accountants
- Train, develop, and mentor the project accounting team
- Monitor and resolve issues impacting timeliness and accuracy of payments
- Review job cost entries made to project job cost reports
- Input project budgets while managing forecasts
- Conduct periodic review of the project budgets and job cost reports with Project Managers
- Review and approve contracts and change orders
- Administer payment approval software application (GC Pay)
- Process monthly construction and intercompany billings
- Prepare reports in support of finance draws
- Monitor and review back charges
- Review outstanding invoices and deal with approval comments with Project Accountants
- Produce ad hoc reports as required.
What You Will Bring:
- Designated CPA preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in team environments in an accounting/finance role
- Management and leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- A positive, self-motivated, and problem-solving individual
- Advanced Excel skills are an asset (ex. Pivot tables)
- Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure high quality of work
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range:
$95-105k
