Title: Shipping Clerk
Reports to: Shipping Manager
Based at: Mucci PAC Ltd., Kingsville, Ontario
Type of Employment: Full time, permanent, 5/6 days a week on afternoon shift, (5pm – 1:30am) and potentially extended hours depending on workload and priorities; which could include possible Sunday shifts (unless stipulated otherwise in offer of employment).

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Must be willing and able to work a steady afternoon shift (5pm -1:30am, Monday – Friday/Saturday)
- Check all outbound scans and verify against P.O.’s
- Prepare outbound paperwork
- Inspect shipment documentation for quantities, descriptions, and proper goods
- Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts of outbound materials
- Data Entry as assigned by shipping supervisor or manager
- Investigate shipping related concerns/ Issues
- Assign check-ins and check-outs within TMS
- Data entry within temperature recording portals
- Data entry within customer platforms, (ASN, ITrade)
- Any other administrative duties assigned by management
- Emailing Carriers PODs and following up on priority emails
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Completion of High School, GED, or equivalent is required

Must have at least 1 year of experience as a shipping clerk, customs, or similar role

Strong organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Knowledge of Famous is considered an asset

Must be a team player, able to multi-task and learn quickly
-
Must have strong sense of urgency
-
Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, (verbally and written) in English

Must be able to function in a high capacity within a stressful work environment

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Abilities:
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
- Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time
- Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F
