Position Summary: Under the guidance of the Marina Manager, the Marina Attendants are responsible for performing customer checkouts on rentals, fueling vessels, and launches. They also check back in the Marina’s rental fleet and perform general maintenance and cleaning of both the fleet and the Marina.

What will you be doing? You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

• Provide superior customer service and professional, courteous hospitality to all guests.
• Follow Eldorado Resort and Marina safety standards and systems.
• Adhere to policies and procedures as outlined in the CREW handbook.
• Learn vessel types in the rental fleet and be able to answer specific customer questions.
• Book reservations and prepare contracts for customers in advance.
• Clearly communicate rental contracts, procedures, and damage policies with customers.
• Operate POS system for pre-authorizations and payments.
• Foster and practice teamwork and cooperation with all other resort positions.
• Contribute to team morale by exemplifying CREW values.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas and equipment.
• Operate Marina office equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for? To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following:

• Knowledge of boating operations and provincial boating regulations.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Licensing as required by provincial laws & regulations.
• Previous experience in the hospitality or timeshare industry.
• Cash handling skills and other monetary transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Problem-analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Initiative and adaptability.
• Must be available to work evening shifts, holidays, and weekends (start times vary based on business volumes and operational demands)
