Employment Opportunities
Commissionaires are accepting applications for part-time and full-time positions for Security Guards in the Kingston District for federal, commercial and construction contracts.
We provide diverse employment opportunities with benefits and competitive wages.
- Part-Time and Full-Time positions
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a reliability and/or secret clearance (To expedite a RELIABILITY CLEARANCE it requires living in Canada for 5 years**, for SECRET CLEARANCE** requires living in Canada for 10 years**)**
Employment Qualifications
All applicants must:
- be at least 18 years of age
- be eligible to work and reside in Canada
- be computer literate
- hold a current; Ontario Driver’s License, Ontario Security Guard License and current First Aid Certificate
- provide a driver’s abstract and pass a CPIC check
- pass a Federal Security Clearance and/or Vulnerable Sector check
- be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays
- responsible for transportation to and from work
- have a good understanding of speaking, reading and writing English. French or other languages will be an asset

Security is not a Mon – Friday, 9 to 5 job.
Security services are 24/7 operation. To meet our clients’ needs, our Guards positions involve rotating shifts. These shifts include overnights, evenings, weekends, some day shifts and Holidays.
