Quelles sont les responsabilités du/de la VP, Développement des affaires FNB ? Nous recherchons un(e) vice‑président(e), Développement des affaires FNB, pour rejoindre notre équipe FNB au Canada. L’objectif principal du rôle est de générer et de conserver les actifs au sein de la gamme de produits FNB de Franklin Templeton (FT). Le ou la titulaire agira en partenariat avec les canaux de distribution canadiens afin de compléter leurs efforts et interagira directement avec les conseillers en placement qui utilisent principalement ou exclusivement les FNB.
Ce poste exige une vaste expérience dans le domaine des FNB, ainsi qu’une connaissance approfondie des marchés financiers, de la concurrence, de l’industrie des FNB, des plateformes et de la construction de portefeuille à l’aide de FNB. Les responsabilités comprennent aussi la collaboration continue avec l’équipe de ventes au détail et l’établissement de relations efficaces avec les équipes Produits, Marketing et Placement de FT. Le poste relève du premier vice‑président, Chef de la distribution FNB au détail au Canada.
Comment vous ajouterez de la valeur
- Vous gérerez un territoire ou un canal afin de générer des ventes et d’atteindre les objectifs.
- Vous développerez des relations clés avec les conseillers du territoire et collaborerez avec l’équipe locale de FT pour stimuler les ventes de FNB.
- Vous formerez et informerez les autres partenaires de distribution au sein de Franklin Templeton pour accroître la visibilité de l’offre FNB.
- Vous maintiendrez vos connaissances sur les sujets liés à l'industrie et offrirez des présentations à valeur ajoutée aux conseillers et autres publics.
- Vous consignerez vos activités dans le système de gestion des contacts et collaborerez avec l’équipe de direction des ventes sur divers projets.
Ce qui vous aidera à réussir dans ce rôle Expérience, formation et certifications
- Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en consultation ou ventes dans l’industrie du placement.
- Plus de 5 ans d’expérience liée aux FNB, soit en ventes, en produits ou en placements.
- Baccalauréat requis ; MBA, CIMA ou CFA préféré.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite.
- Capacité à bâtir et gérer des relations internes et externes.
- Expérience en élaboration et mise en œuvre de plans de vente et de marketing.
- Solide sens financier et connaissances en investissement.
- Solides compétences analytiques et pensée critique.
- À l’aise avec des déplacements fréquents.
- Le bilinguisme est obligatoire.

We are looking to hire a VP, ETF Business Development in the province of Quebec to help continue that growth.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of the VP ETF Business Development? We are looking for a VP - ETF Business Development to join our ETF team in Canada. The primary goal of this role is to generate and retain assets within Franklin Templeton’s (FT) ETF product suite. The VP – ETF Business Development will accomplish this goal by partnering with Canada based distribution channels to complement their existing efforts and directly engaging with investment advisors that primarily or exclusively use ETFs.
This position requires an extensive background in the ETF space, with a high level of knowledge around capital markets, competitors, ETF industry knowledge, understanding platforms, and portfolio construction using ETFs. Additional responsibilities will include ongoing interaction with the retail sales team and building and maintaining productive relationships with FT’s product, marketing, and investment teams. This position will report into the SVP - Head of Retail ETF Distribution in Canada
How You Will Add Value
- You will manage a channel or territory to generate sales and revenue to meet objectives.
- You will manage and develop relationships with key investment advisors in territory and partner with local FT sales team to drive ETF sales.
- Educate, train and interact with other distribution areas and partners within Franklin Templeton to enhance awareness of the ETF offerings.
- You will maintain knowledge of industry related topics and proficiencies in delivering value-added presentations to advisor and other audiences.
- You will maintain updated activity logs in contact management system and work with Sales Management on various project initiatives
Experience, Education & Certifications What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role
- 5+ years of experience in a field consulting/sales role within the investment industry
- 5+ years ETF related experience within either a sales, product, or investment role
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA and/or CIMA, CFA preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven with ability to build manage key internal and external relationships.
- Experience developing and implementing sales and marketing business plans.
- Strong investment acumen and background
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable with extensive travel
- Bilingual is a must
