Northern Lights Public Schools invites internal applications for the following position: S2526-34 INTERNAL Head Custodian - Glendon School This full-time (1.0 fte) position is open to internal applicants only and commences as soon as possible. The assignment involves performing a variety of custodian and maintenance duties required to maintain the cleanliness and care of the school's facilities.
Glendon School is located in the Village of Glendon with approximately 200 students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. Glendon School provides a stable, safe environment for students to come and learn the knowledge and skills needed to advance in our ever changing world.
Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Supervise other custodial staff including scheduling and documenting overtime
- Monitor and report meter readings
- Inspect grounds, play equipment and structures
- Track and order supplies
Preference Will Be Given To Applicants Who Have
- Physical ability to do the required work
- Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with all levels of school personnel and students
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Committed to building an atmosphere of trust, competence, confidentiality and positive service to the school and community
- Previous CUPE custodial experience
