Position Details

The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) is looking for an enthusiastic Undergraduate or Graduate Co-op student to join our team and help bring graduate student life to the next level. In this role, you’ll support initiatives, events, and activities that promote academic excellence, career and professional development, social connection, health and wellness, and community building.

You’ll be part organizer, part communicator, and part problem-solver—helping make sure SGS initiatives are inclusive, accessible, and engaging for graduate students, faculty, staff, and researchers across the University of Lethbridge.

What will you contribute?
Plan & Support Events: Help design and deliver workshops, seminars, and community events that support learning, wellness, and connection.

Share the Word: Create engaging, accessible communications (emails, posters, social media, and web updates) to keep graduate students in the know.

Keep Things Running Smoothly: Provide operational and administrative support for SGS programs and initiatives.

Champion Inclusivity: Support practices that make activities welcoming and accessible for all students.

Connect Students to Resources: Help graduate students navigate opportunities for academic and professional growth.

Position Qualifications

Required:
Senior undergraduate or graduate student in a program eligible for co-op designation:
A) Be familiar with a variety of social media platforms
B) Excellent computer skills

Preferred:
A) Graphic design
B) Photography and photo editing
C) Video capture and editing
D) Digital marketing

Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)

$4,017.00 - $4,469.00 monthly

Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)

$4,017.00 - $4,921.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 8)
