Entera Utility Contractors is a heavy civil and high voltage construction company that has steadily grown to one of the largest electrical utility contractors in Ontario. We are currently hiring for an energetic, self-directed person to join our Fleet team as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Operator.
This position reports to a single yard location and involves the operation of excavators from 4 tonne to 50 tonne, front-end loaders and backhoes. An advanced license such as DZ or AZ is preferred, but at a minimum, a G license is required.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload equipment and material from/on floats or into dump trucks
Support the yard personnel in managing material and equipment
Maintain the yard equipment as per manufacturer’s preventive maintenance requirements
Qualifications
Proficiency on the described equipment is a requirement. Candidates will be evaluated prior to employment.
