Safely transport students with disabilities to and from school
Build positive and professional relationships with students, families and school staff Create a calm, safe, and supportive environment on your bus Complete daily vehicle pre-trip inspections Follow established routes and schedules Use GPS and communication technology Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned vehicle, including regular washing, fueling, and delivering the vehicle for scheduled maintenance and repairs
Requirements
6-years of winter driving experience Monday to Friday both AM and PM availability (6:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 4:30pm) Responsible for finding a secure parking space for the small school bus at or near your home Hold a valid Class 5 (non-GDL) Alberta driver’s licence or higher Clear driver's abstract and criminal record check, completion of drug testing Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
