A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE OPERATIONS MANAGER

As the Grande Prairie based Operations Manager, your day revolves around leading and coordinating multiple service lines to ensure that all restoration and construction projects run smoothly from start to finish. You'll oversee timelines, budgets, and quality standards while managing teams, resources, and subcontractors to deliver outstanding results. You'll drive profitability through effective cost management, uphold safety and compliance standards, and maintain exceptional client relationships. As the primary escalation point for complex issues, you'll demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and accountability to keep projects moving forward. Your ability to coach, mentor, and engage employees will foster a high-performing culture rooted in teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction within restoration, emergency, or related industry
  • Previous leadership experience**,** including coaching and developing teams, considered an asset
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and subcontractors effectively
  • Strong understanding of reconstruction practices and insurance restoration requirements
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and mobile applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and manage diverse personalities
  • College diploma or trade certification in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • IICRC certifications considered an asset
