Salary range(but not limited to):
69,200 - 84,600
Incentive plan
Annual bonus: 7.5% target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to 200% (subject to personal and company performance)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role
We are looking for aConsultant, Learning & Developmentto join ourNational Commercial Insurance teamat BrokerLink!
In this role, you will design and deliver virtual learning that elevates performance across commercial insurance disciplines—spanning technical topics, systems, coverages, and essential soft skills. You’ll prepare, coach, and support employees to provide exceptional customer service, increase individual productivity, and build critical competencies, ensuring all training aligns with strategic objectives and complies with departmental, program, and regulatory standard
This position blends three key dimensions of learning:
-**Instructor-led delivery:**Facilitate live sessions on a wide range of commercial insurance topics. -Content development: Create engaging eLearning materials and curricula. -**Applied learning:**Reinforce on-the-job application through practice, system role-plays, and structured follow-ups.

What you’ll do here:
- Educate employees at an advanced level across multiple L&D disciplines in Commercial Insurance.
- Research, create, prepare, and deliver advanced learning materials in Commercial Insurance.
- Promote and support the adoption and application of workplace learning.
- Manage administration for existing and completed courses and programs; coach colleagues to build these capabilities.
- Collaborate on program planning with team members and external stakeholders; identify training gaps and develop solutions locally, regionally, and nationally.
- Contribute to projects within L&D and across other departments.
- Act as a success partner to other Learning & Development Specialists.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you bring to the table:
- Proven track record in learning design and delivery; solid L&D experience required (teaching background welcome).
- Commercial lines experience (e.g., underwriting, claims adjusting, sales, or related): good knowledge of P&C insurance—Commercial Lines and ongoing CE related to commercial insurance.
- P&C insurance license in province of work required; CAIB 1, 2 & 3 or 5 CIP courses an asset.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint; skilled with Teams.
- Superior communication skills: clear, concise, persuasive.
- Strong facilitation skills: adaptable, engaging, empathetic.
- Highly organized: methodical, reliable, detail-oriented.
- Customer-service oriented.
- Experience with EPIC, insurer portals, and various program delivery platforms considered an asset.
- Program creation experience; familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; project management certification an asset.
