Purpose:

This position will lead and deliver technology initiatives that enable business growth and operational

excellence. OMS is looking to upgrade their ERP in the coming year and this role will focus on this Delivery

heavily. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple

cross-functional projects in a mid-market environment where agility and resource optimization are key.

The Senior IT Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, from initiation through

planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with company strategy, budget, and timelines.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects (e.g., ERP/CRM implementations, cybersecurity programs, infrastructure upgrades, SaaS rollouts).

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk logs.

  • Monitor project performance and provide status updates to senior leadership.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors.

  • Facilitate workshops, steering committee updates, and project reporting to ensure alignment.

  • Translate technical information into business language for non-technical audiences.

Team & Resource Management

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless execution.

  • Mentor project coordinators.

  • Support cross-functional collaboration across IT, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure projects adhere to company PMO standards, IT governance, and compliance requirements (e.g., data security, privacy, SOX, PCI, HIPAA depending on requirement).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

  • 7+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years leading enterprise or mid-sized company initiatives.

  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and within scope.

  • PMP, PRINCE2 preferred: Scrum Master certification nice to have.

  • Strong understanding of IT systems across all Business, Data, Applications & Technology including (ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, cybersecurity, infrastructure).

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, resource-constrained mid-market environment.
  • High adaptability and problem-solving mindset.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Project, Jira, or other project management tools.
  • Business acumen with an understanding of financial and operational drivers.
