Job Description
This role is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
The Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Quality Assurance team, including Quality Assurance Associates and Product Quality Specialists. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of product quality documentation and supporting various quality system processes.
Be a Resource for Customers
- Send select analytical data to customers when required
- Communicate with other departments in order to support customer technical requests
- Escalate issues to appropriate departments and manager when necessary
- Conduct communication in a professional manner
Create and Review Certificates of Analysis (CoA)
- Review and release CoAs generated by Product Quality Specialists to ensure high quality and timeliness
- Collect data as necessary to reveal endemic mistakes and report on them
- Create CoAs for materials released by Product Quality Specialists and ensure a high degree of accuracy
- Support the management of CoAs using IFS
Support QMS processes
- Support Change Control processes
- Perform administrative functions supporting document control processes
- Support QMS processes
Maintain CAPA/NCRs

Log and review customer complaints, compile required documents for their evaluation

Participate in corrective action and preventative action (CAPA) investigations and follow up on these as necessary

Provide investigation feedback to the appropriate departments
Qualifications
-
1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.

B.Sc. in Organic Chemistry – or equivalent Industry experience.
-
Experience in interpreting analytical data will be an asset.
-
Experience in an analytical or synthetic laboratory will be an asset.

Highly detail-oriented with solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
-
Self-directed and motivated with ability to handle multiple tasks and synthesize disparate information.
-
Must be adept in the use of standard IT tools.
