The Business Development Lead oversees and manages the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of high-quality proposals that align with our strategic business objectives and client requirements. This role serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the RFP lifecycle, fostering clear communication and collaboration to meet client needs. The Business Development Lead plays a critical role in securing new business opportunities and strengthening client relationships.

Your Mission
Proposal and Presentation Management
- Lead and manage the end-to-end RFP and proposal process, including development, coordination, and submission.
- Review and edit proposals for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Develop and manage project timelines for timely delivery
- Develop and prepare partner presentations.
- Tracking of all opportunities and statuses through the CRM.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, PSP, and Operations to gather necessary input.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the RFP process.
Content Development and Customization
- Write, edit, and refine proposal content to highlight the organization’s value proposition.
- Tailor responses to address specific client needs and priorities.
- Create and curate high-quality, client-aligned proposal content.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities for improvement to streamline the processes and establish best practices.
- Develop tools and resources to enhance efficiency and response quality.
Regulatory and Compliance Accountability
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory guidelines.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in RFP management or a similar role.
- Skills:
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). o Attention to detail and commitment to quality. o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
