Speedy Transport Group Inc. is an LTL carrier specializing in Canada to USA transportation and logistics for Canada, USA, Ontario, Quebec and North America. Founded in 1941 as a local, same-day parcel pick-up and delivery service, Speedy Transport Group Inc. has grown to be one of central Canada’s premier carriers.
We are seeking an energetic and outgoing individual for the position of Customer Care Representative at our Brampton terminal. The customer care representative will be responsible for aiding customers inquiries, tracking and tracing freight, maintaining accurate reports, and other administrative tasks.
Position Responsibilities:
- Carry out administrative activities associated with manifesting for various loads.
- Establish work priorities, processing shipments to brokers, and ensures deadlines are met.
- Provide various types of office support such as responding to customer inquiries, maintaining customer accounts, processing applications for service.
- Extensive contact and interaction with the public in situations requiring problem resolution, and duties which relate specifically to customer concerns.
- Research and follow up on customer problems and respond to questions.
- Obtain information from the customer to perform a requested task.
- Tracing and producing P.O.D.'s for customers.
- Calling customers to confirm delivery on unsigned bills.
- Answering customer pick-up calls.
Position Qualifications:
- Previous Customer Care experience is considered an asset.
- Previous Transportation experience is considered an asset.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Must be able to listen and provide effective and timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Must have strong time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize and manage large workloads.
