Responsibilities
- Entering payments into the system
- Optimizes Clinic appointment book to achieve weekly and monthly revenue budgets.
- Managing all the adjustment types in the books.
- Provide the clinic with administrative and practical support when requested.
- Process the accounts receivable and accounts payable of the practice.
- Gather and accurately record medical, personal, and insurance information from patients; ensure this information is updated.
- Accurately file patient information, seeing that records are stored securely and handled in compliance with privacy and security regulations.
- Apply insurance payments, and insurance inquiries.
- Send/track, daily/weekly deposit reports.
And most importantly ENJOY YOUR WORK! Skills And Qualifications
- At least 1 year of previous financial administration experience is desired.
- Good interpersonal and verbal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other staff members, and community; a team player.
- Customer service or patient relations experience; conflict resolution experience.
- Able to adapt to and drive office policy improvements (office is constantly striving for improved customer care/service).
