Overview We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of a public library. That is a five times a week (Tuesday to Saturday). it is one hour and less per service. We provide all tools, equipment and chemicals.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to high standards of cleanliness. Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
• Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to ensure effective results

Experience

• Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
