Position:

As Team Lead, Developer Experience (DevEx), you will play a key role in accelerating all software engineering at Croesus. You will lead a talented team whose mission is to optimize the developer experience (DevEx), improve velocity and productivity, with the strategic adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a major focus.

In addition to team management, your solid expertise in DevOps principles and AI tools for developers, as well as your mastery of automation platforms, will enable you to drive the transformation of software efficiency at Croesus. You will be responsible for the performance, motivation, and development of your team, while actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.

Your leadership will inspire the team to achieve a high level of performance, and you will be able to exercise this position in a positive and collaborative work environment. This hybrid role will allow you to stay connected to the realities on the ground and develop your leadership skills.

As Team Lead, Developer Experience (DevEx), you will play a key role in accelerating all software engineering at Croesus. Strategic and technical contribution

  • AI management: Lead the research, implementation, and deployment of AI solutions (code assistants, automated testing tools, etc.) aimed at transforming developer efficiency, and track their impact through key metrics.
  • Internal tools: Develop, maintain, and support our internal tools, in collaboration with the Platform team (CP), to simplify recurring engineering tasks.
  • CI/CD: Oversee the complete management of our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring their robustness, performance, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
  • Development environments: Ensure the robustness and performance of our development, QA, and build environments, as well as the optimization of the infrastructure that supports them.
  • Standardization of the local environment: Design and maintain standardized tools and configurations (initialization scripts, Docker images, IDE configurations) to ensure that every developer has a ready-to-use, high-performance, and consistent local development environment from day one.
  • Friction resolution: Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve friction points, integrating and contributing directly to their sprints.
  • Technical culture: Stay up to date on new DevEx technologies and AI trends. Help foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Supervision

  • Supervise, motivate, and support team members.
  • Create a positive and collaborative work environment conducive to harmonious working relationships.
  • Evaluate team members' performance and identify their training and development needs.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
  • Promote transparent communication and effective knowledge sharing.
  • Set individual and collective goals for the team, aligned with productivity metrics (DORA, SPACE).

Project management and monitoring

  • Work with stakeholders to define DevEx objectives and priorities.
  • Estimate workloads and plan activities in collaboration with the director and technical manager.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks associated with adopting new solutions.
  • Ensure the quality of work and compliance with established standards and processes.
  • Ensure team efficiency and contribution to on-time project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering or development tools and automation, including 2 years in an influential or leadership role (direct or indirect) focused on the developer experience.
  • Concrete experience in integrating and piloting Artificial Intelligence for software productivity (e.g., Copilot, LLM assistants).
  • Experience in the financial sector (an asset).

Technical Skills

  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Expertise in DevOps and SRE: Strong understanding and practical experience of DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies (automation, monitoring, collaboration) and Site Reliability Engineering concepts.
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for managing Dev/QA environments.
  • Significant experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and managing local development environments.
  • Proven experience with Artificial Intelligence tools for developer productivity (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or other code assistants).
  • Proficiency with IT tools: Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and knowledge of best practices in development (testing, continuous integration).
  • Experience in monitoring and improving productivity and performance metrics (DORA, SPACE).

  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and oral) and a team spirit to interact effectively with engineering teams and management.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions, particularly to remove friction points in development processes.
  • Priority management: Meet deadlines and work independently to achieve company objectives.
  • Adaptability and continuous learning: Be able to adapt quickly to new technologies and changes in the environment, particularly in the field of AI.
  • Individual accountability and creativity: Be proactive, take responsibility, and demonstrate creativity in finding DevEx solutions.
