About The Role Test Planning and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
Test Execution Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing On Service Now instances with a specific emphasis on CSM module.
Validate that configurations and customizations meet business requirements and function as intended.
Defect Management Identify, document, and track defects through the testing lifecycle.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Automation Implement and maintain automated test scripts using relevant testing tools for CSM module.
Continuously explore opportunities to enhance test automation coverage and efficiency.
SQL Query Writing Write and execute SQL queries, including basic queries with joins, to support database testing and validation.
Collaboration Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand user stories and acceptance criteria.
Participate in regular meetings to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and overall project status.
Documentation Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
Ensure that testing activities comply with organization standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst with a focus on Service Now Platform and Service Now Automated Test Framework
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in creating and executing automated test scripts using relevant tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications are a plus
