We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex IT initiatives that are critical to our company’s growth and international operations. This role is hands-on and requires someone who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution. The Senior IT Project Manager will work directly with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects (planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations, Engineering, etc.) to ensure project alignment with business needs.
- Oversee external vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and accountability for projects.
- Identify, track, and manage project risks and dependencies, escalating where necessary.
- Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and data management standards.
- Promote adoption of best practices in project management, tailored to the company’s context.
- Support change management and training efforts to drive user adoption of new tools, systems, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- 7+ years of IT project management experience, including leadership of complex system implementations (ERP, CRM, cloud, or infrastructure projects).
- Strong track record of delivering multi-departmental projects on schedule and within budget.
- PMP or Agile certification is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives. (Intermediate level of English is required)
- Background in a manufacturing or international organization is an asset.
