About The Role Reporting to the Electrical Department Manager, the Senior Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing multiple crews or complex projects, ensuring mechanical work is executed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. This role provides leadership and mentorship to foremen and technicians, coordinates with project management (when applicable) and clients, and plays a key role in planning, resource allocation, and issue resolution. The Senior Foreman ensures compliance with safety and quality protocols while driving performance to meet project goals and budgets.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Oversee all aspects of small to mid-sized projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, safety, and client communication;
  • Develop detailed execution plans for electrical scopes of work and ensure required materials, tools, and equipment are available on site;
  • Assign and monitor daily tasks for technicians and crews to ensure quality, progress, and adherence to schedules;
  • Support and guide foremen and crews in daily planning and progress tracking;
  • Maintain a clear understanding of project scope to identify and communicate potential change orders to the Project Manager;
  • Perform daily QA/QC inspections and document any deficiencies; coordinate and implement corrective actions;
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for the customer and for all safety-related matters;
  • Attend project handover, kickoff, and site orientation meetings to align on objectives and expectations;
  • Coordinate site activities with sub-trades, regulatory bodies, vendors, and customers to ensure compliance, inspections, and certifications;
  • Monitor and track labor hours and material usage to maintain cost control within the project budget;
  • Prepare weekly project progress reports and update the Project Manager on site activities and customer communications;
  • Assist with project close-out, including punch list completion, final inspections, and documentation.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is an experienced Electrical Foreman who combines strong technical knowledge with effective leadership and communication skills. You have a solid understanding of electrical systems, codes, and installation practices, and you take pride in delivering safe, high-quality work on every project. You’re confident overseeing day-to-day site activities, coordinating with crews, subcontractors, and clients, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget. You’re hands-on when needed, proactive in solving problems, and always focused on maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency on the job site.

Our Must Haves

  • Red Seal Electrician certification;
  • FSR B or A certification;
  • Owns personal hand tools and approved footwear;
  • Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and has reliable transportation;
  • Experience working in commercial and/or industrial environments.

  • Wage: $52.00-$60.00 per hour
