WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE
Financial Planning & Analysis team is the trusted partner for each business unit and provides financial advice, expertise, and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. The team is comprised of driven finance professionals who strive for financial and operational excellence and exceptional customer service, challenge the status quo, and focus on continuous improvement.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and review capital business cases, including project rationale, scope, and financial justification.
- Prepare analyses including net present value (NPV) and internal rate of return (IRR) to evaluate financial benefits versus costs.
- Perform scenario, sensitivity, and risk analysis on cost, schedule, and benefits.
- Collaborate with business units to compile data and make recommendations to decision-makers.
- Support capital plan development (multi‑year capital forecasts and prioritization).
- Ensure alignment between capital plans, funding sources, and long‑term financial plans. Analyze financial trends, market conditions, and business performance to identify opportunities and risks.
- Support the financial analysis function to deliver comprehensive and accurate financial reports.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in financial analysis and reporting. Implement best practices and tools to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING

- 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Expertise in developing complex financial models to forecast performance, evaluate scenarios, and support strategic planning.
- Ability to translate financial analysis into strategic recommendations that drive business decisions and operational improvements.
- Skilled in using advanced financial software and ERP & EPM systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced capabilities in Excel, including proficiency in complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
- Proficiency in presenting financial data and insights clearly and effectively to senior management, board members, and other stakeholders.
WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS ARE AN ASSET
- Bilingual in English and French
- CFA or CPA designation preferred.
