The town developed as result of the timber industry and has a rich mix of Indigenous and European history and culture.

Bowraville GP service vision is to provide quality primary health care in a Local Health District Integrated Care environment.

Our Mission Is To Work With The LHD To

  • Focus on an Internal Medicine practice specialty.
  • Focus on preventative medicine within an integrative care environment.
  • Become a GP training practice.

Provide specialist clinical services for optimal patient outcomes including education and training of medical and nursing staff and the junior medical officers within the department.

To provide education, supervision and support to junior medical staff.

Provide effective GP/specialist medical services and clinical management to patients in a complex clinical environment.

Provide contemporary clinical management and modern approach to the assessment and management of a broad range of health related conditions within on call specialty as determined.

This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer. Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.
