About the Role
As an IT Test Analyst reporting to the Manager of IT Testing, you’ll collaborate with senior-level IT Test Analysts and Automation Specialists to plan and execute testing activities across various products and applications. You’ll also work closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers to ensure testing strategies align with organizational goals.
Success in this role hinges on your ability to build strong relationships, maintain a customer-focused mindset, and solve complex problems in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You’ll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity and thrive on delivering high-quality solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Estimate and plan testing activities across multiple projects.
- Define and collect metrics to evaluate testing processes.
- Identify process gaps and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop testing roadmaps for various applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts and Project Managers.
- Apply your knowledge of:
o Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies.
o ITIL fundamentals and best practices.
o Operating systems (Windows, Unix) and computer architecture.
o Relational databases and system design principles.
o Information analysis techniques for technical documentation.
What We’re Looking For
-
Post-secondary Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
-
3+ years in IT functional and/or non-functional testing.
-
Hands-on experience with tools such as HP Load Runner, HP UFT, and HP ALM.
-
VB scripting experience, preferably with HP UFT.
-
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-
Strong documentation and communication skills.
-
Proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs and manage multiple assignments.
-
A proactive, energetic approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
-
Experience in an integrated IT/Health support environment is a bonus.

Automation testing, API testing using jmeter or other open-source tools & descriptive programming is a bonus.

Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
