Position Overview:TheField Recruitment Coordinatorfocuses on leading the driver recruitment efforts to support business growth. This role will focus on generating quality leads, attending recruitment events, and building strong relationships with prospective Owner Operators and Company Drivers. The Field Recruitment Coordinator will work closely with Business Development, Operations, and Onboarding Coordinators to ensure hiring targets are met.

Location: Mississauga, ON
Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

Key Responsibilities: Recruitment

  • Coordinator the recruiting process for various employment groups, including:
    • Posting job ads on websites and job boards.

    • Pre-screening candidates and setting up interviews (virtual or in-person).

    • Reviewing qualification requirements with prospective candidates

    • Build relationships with candidates and help create a good hiring experience.

Recruitment Events:

  • Plan and attend driver-focused events like job fairs and open houses.

  • Work with the marketing team to create ads and campaigns to attract candidates.

Reports and Metrics:

  • Keep track of recruitment numbers, like time-to-hire and pipeline progress.

  • Help prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly recruitment reports.

What We’re Looking For Qualifications & Key Skills:

  • At least 2 years in a similar role. Experience recruiting for driver or logistics roles an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with candidates and teams.
  • Able to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on improving processes.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with ATS or recruitment tools is a plus.
