About the role
We are looking for a Manager, Human Resource Information System who will be responsible for implementing, managing and optimizing the organization’s Human Resources Information Systems across multiple regions. This role ensures HR technology solutions align with Human Resource priorities and broader enterprise objectives.
The role involves system ownership, project leadership, and stakeholder management to deliver scalable HR technology solutions that drive efficiency, enhance the employee experience, and provide actionable workforce insights.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead HRIS projects including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations in a multi-region environment.
- Support effective change management through stakeholder engagement, training, and communication.
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, and external consultants to evaluate, implement, and support HR technology solutions.
- Revise and enhance existing systems and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, workflows, and enhancements.
- Manage the day-to-day operations, configuration, and optimization of HR systems.
- Drive process improvements include automation, employee/manager self-service, and mobile enablement.
- Ensure system integrity, compliance, and data governance across regions.
- Develop and manage reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support data-informed decision-making.
- Provide insights into workforce trends and partner with senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
Experience
- 8 to 10 years of progressive HRIS experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in leadership or project management capacity.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-region/North America HRIS implementations and operations.
- Proven ability to manage HR technology projects, including implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and data governance best practices.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (experience with Dayforce or UKG will be an asset)
- Advanced reporting and data visualization skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience coaching and developing team members.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail when handling sensitive HR data.
- Passion for leveraging HR technology to improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

- Leadership / Level of Responsibility: Manages and directs the work of a subgroup or multiple programs/projects.
- Freedom to Act / Decision-Making Authority: Receives general direction from supervisor through the review of completed assignments.
- Physical and Sensory Demands: The role requires prolonged computer use, sustained visual focus, clear verbal communication, and travel as and when required.
- Working Environment: Hybrid – 3 days in office and 2 days from home.
