We are looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be experienced in assisting a of dental procedures. Strong skills in and familiarity with intraoral scanning (iTero) are essential.

Responsibilities
- Set up treatment rooms and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Support dentist procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for all patients.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness for daily operations
- Perform iTero digital scans, X-ray's efficiently and ensure scan quality.
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- IPAC Certified (Infection and Prevention Controls)
- Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Manage dental records, charts, and documentation as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disinfecting operatories and sterilizing instruments.
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Certification
- Previous experience in a dental clinic
- Proficiency in digital scanning systems (iTero preferred).
- Strong communication and patient-care skills and good customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred (4 to 5 years preferred).
- Successful completion of a Dental Assisting Certificate.
- Level II and HARP certification (required).
- Valid CPR certification (required).
- Flexible schedule with availability for evening and weekend shifts based on business needs.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Punctual and reliable with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and respond effectively to a variety of patients.
- Experience with dental practice management software (such as Tracker) is considered an asset
- Support the front desk with scheduling or administrative tasks when required.
