Job Description Ashoka’s Sport for Changemaking team is looking for a self-driven, collaborative, highly professional individual to contribute Editorial Design to the Reimagining Youth Sport initiative – a collaborative project that works with Ashoka Fellows, sporting associations, young changemakers, and other partners. The project aims to transform youth sport by rethinking the decisions that shape it—ensuring every young person can develop their agency, leadership, and changemaking skills through sport.
As The Editorial Designer, You Will Support The Production Of a Key Report For The Reimagining Youth Sport Project. The Designer Will Transform Research Findings, Stakeholder Stories, And Project Insights Into a Visually Engaging, Accessible, And Professional Publication. As a Volunteer, You Will Contribute To
- Design and layout the report, including typography, color schemes, imagery, and data visualization.
- Ensure content is presented clearly, with a focus on readability and user engagement.
- Collaborate with the project team to maintain consistent branding and messaging.
- Incorporate storytelling elements to highlight stakeholder experiences and project impact.\

Volunteer Logistics Estimated hours required per week: 10

Desired Skills And Experience Ashoka volunteers are typically individuals willing and able to work in several different capacities. This volunteer will be responsible for producing a number of documents and potentially interacting with social innovators from all over the world. Volunteers should therefore show:
- Ability to work independently; meet deadlines and targets in a collaborative, creative working environment
- Experience in editorial, publication, or report design (portfolio required).
- Strong skills and individual access to design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Ability to translate complex information and research into visually compelling layouts.
- Comfortable with social impact trends and innovations
- Proficiency in English.
- Great attention to detail
