The Role And What You’ll Do UFC is looking for a dynamic and passionate Content & Business Development Manager to join its Toronto office. This is an opportunity to join the world’s premiere combat sports organization and help shape key initiatives in the Canadian market. The successful candidate will drive growth and visibility across Pay-Per-View (PPV), broadcast platforms, and digital content delivery, while managing strategic relationships with distribution partners and internal stakeholders. This role combines strategic planning, operational oversight, and content execution to optimize performance and viewer engagement across multiple platforms, including PPV, broadcast partners (TVA and Sportsnet), and UFC Fight Pass, along with additional Team Canada responsibilities.
- Manage key content relationships across PPV and broadcast
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute PPV and television promotional strategy.
- Deliver monthly PPV buy breakdown, including top line and granular analysis of results, identification of trends and year-over-year comparison
- Track content performance and identify and analyze content gaps; strategize to ensure optimal performance of content across broadcast channels
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on initiatives to drive subscriber growth on UFC Fight Pass
- Track and maintain contracts for key partners
- Build and maintain relationships with PPV providers, creating decks for internal and external presentations and coordinating strategy to ensure alignment between UFC and partners.
- Generate event descriptions and support materials, ensuring delivery of all content (short-form, long-form, and marketing)
- Maintain programming schedules and ensure assets are delivered on time
- Serve as main point of contact for broadcast partners, overseeing strategy, delivery and feedback
- Collect and analyze viewership metrics, sharing insights with internal and external stakeholders
- Support asset delivery for UFC Fight Pass campaigns
- Other tasks, projects and responsibilities as assigned.
You Have These
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in content or relevant industry
- Experience managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders and partners
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideas and concepts to groups, including members of the executive team
- Ability to cultivate and establish effective relationships with all levels of clients from corporate to individuals
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to maintain discretion and protect confidential information
- Thorough understanding of business principles, and the ability to think “outside of the box”
- Desire and ability to work independently and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
