Introduction: Prime Hires is seeking a skilled IT - Solutions Developer V to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period: 12 months Potential to extend or convert Pay Rate: $ 72 per hour Location: Toronto, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday – Friday; Core business hours

Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, business partners, QE, and architecture to deliver high-quality solutions Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives Contribute to the development and delivery of features through 2-week sprint cycles, owning and executing assigned user stories Provide regular updates on progress, blockers, and outcomes to ensure team alignment and delivery success Experience & Qualification Requirements: Post secondary degree required 5 years of backend development in TypeScript experience Strong backend fundamentals, such as distributed system design, API design, container orchestration, and familiarity with MVCC concepts etc 5+ years of Web development experience 5+ years experiences with Kubernetes, or experience with similar containerization platforms 5+ years experience with Kafka, or experience with similar event streaming systems 3+ years experiences in Postgres, or experience with similar databases Very strong and clear communication (written and verbal) Strong problem-solving skills Strong facilitation skills Self-motivated, well organized, able to work both independently and in a team environment Attention to detail and someone who is a self-starter and adaptable Familiarity with iOS and Android native development concepts, such as app lifecycle, push notifications, xcode and code signing, etc. Cordova/Ionic v1 (AngularJS) Redis Banking or financial institution experience How to Apply: If you are a motivated professional looking to contribute to a leading team, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience relevant to this role.
