About The Role A great opportunity has arisen in our Hudson Mitre 10 Trade Centre business for a Truck Driver to cover the ACT region. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role working a 38-hour week starting anytime between 6 – 8am.
The team member will provide excellent customer service, must be motivated, and be relied upon to work in an unsupervised environment. They will need to hold a current HR Truck License and a Hiab ticket.
What You Will Be Doing
- Delivery goods to our customers in the ACT region (occasional hand unloads)
- Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors
- Provide accurate deliveries on time, with a high focus on customer service
- Be relied upon to represent the company in a professional manner
What You Will Bring
- Hold a valid car license
- Hold a current HR Truck License – essential
- Hold a Hiab ticket - essential
- Forklift License (an advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be physically fit (some heavy liftings require)
- Able to deliver to building sites in surrounding areas
