Job Description As a Salesforce Security Consulting Manager at Accenture, you will lead and deliver innovative security solutions for our clients leveraging Salesforce technologies. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design secure Salesforce solutions, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Salesforce security features and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as the trusted advisor to clients, translating complex security requirements into actionable solutions.

Lead the design and implementation of secure Salesforce solutions tailored to client needs.

Oversee project delivery, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
-
Conduct security assessments and audits of Salesforce environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business stakeholders, to ensure security is embedded in all stages of the Salesforce lifecycle.

Stay updated on the latest Salesforce security features, tools, and best practices.
-
Provide thought leadership and guidance on Salesforce security to clients and internal teams.

Drive knowledge sharing and establish best practices across the consulting team.
-
Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce consultants, fostering technical excellence and career growth.

Support business development by contributing to proposals, solution design, and client presentations. Basic Qualifications:
-
Experience delivering Salesforce security implementations.
-
Deep understanding of Salesforce sharing model including OWDs, sharing rules, sharing sets, role hierarchy, Apex sharing, and Teams as well as the tradeoffs between them.

Deep understanding of role-based access design using Profiles, Permission Sets, and Permission Set Groups.
-
Experience with Salesforce Shield features (Event Monitoring, Platform Encryption, Field Audit Trail).
-
Strong grasp of Connected Apps, OAuth, API access, external integrations, and integration user hardening concepts.
-
Familiarity with Login History, Setup Audit Trail, Event Monitoring logs, Transaction Security Policies.
-
Familiarity with secure coding practices in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integrations – hands-on coding experience not necessary but conceptual understanding is required.

Understanding of Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines and how to incorporate security tests into the process.

Understanding of static/dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST) concepts.
-
Experienced with secure application of REST/SOAP APIs including proper authentication, authorization, and encryption.

Performed security vulnerability assessments and recommended remediation

Knowledge of and practical experience aligning with PIPEDA, GDPR, HIPAA or other regulatory requirements

Ability to partner with admins, developers, architects, and security teams.

Solid understanding of Salesforce sandboxes, deployment processes, and how changes impact security.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

In possession of, or able to qualify for, Canadian federal security clearance (reliability level).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications:

Maintain current Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator credential.
