In Budget 2023, the Government of Canada announced that PSP Investments would act as the independent and exclusive investment manager for the Canada Growth Fund (CGF) a $15 billion public investment vehicle that was established to support the growth of Canada’s clean economy and help to meet its national economic and climate policy goals. Following this, PSP Investments has incorporated CGF Investment Management (CGFIM) for that purpose. CGFIM is providing the full suite of investment management services to CGF covering the entire investment process pursuant to an Investment Management Agreement (IMA).
About Your Role As an Administrative Analyst, Canada Growth Fund Investment Management, you will support the Chief Legal Officer. Specifically, you will:
- Manage the CLO and team’s calendar, mailbox, travel arrangements, and expense reports
- Organize and coordinate meetings, conference calls, and legal briefings; prepare agendas, materials, and minutes
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, reports, and correspondence; translate as needed
- Maintain organized filing systems and track legal deadlines, filings, and compliance documentation
- Manage legal document workflows for the team, including contract tracking, NDA and private holdings list maintenance, and conflict-of-interest searches
- Lead special projects, including data organization for information sharing between business units
- Monitor project progress and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely execution
- Support budgeting and contracting processes; liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the creation and review of reports and presentations for committees and senior management
- Design and prepare PowerPoint presentations and KPI reports
- Ensure timely routing of requests and information within the team
- Organize large events
What You’ll Need
- College degree in office administration or equivalent
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a financial or professional environment, with proven experience providing executive level support
- Strong client service orientation with flexibility to manage shifting priorities
- Experience in budgeting and project coordination
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proactive, accountable, and deadline driven
- Excellent written and verbal communication; confident interacting with senior executives
- Discreet and professional in handling confidential information
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative team player with maturity, resilience, and relationship-building abilities
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel; adaptable to new tools and technologies
- Bilingual in English and French, or willing to learn (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
